BMW CarPlay Activation & Lifetime Maps
Activate Apple CarPlay on your original BMW head unit and update navigation maps or change them to any region of your choice. This digital service is offered for compatible NBT EVO and EntryEVO systems. Fullscreen availability and activation method depend on your hardware and software version.

Maps: all regions supported
You are not limited to your current navigation region. Send your current map version and desired region so we can prepare the correct map update or region conversion. Lifetime map activation allows future map updates without purchasing a new activation code each time where supported by your system.
NBT EVO firmware requirements
USB activation is offered for NBTevo_H, I, J, K, L, M, N and O. Fullscreen is supported on NBTevo_N and O using this method.
NBTevo_P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X and Y require an ENET cable and a Windows laptop for the activation method described here. The ENET cable is not included. Confirm the method for your exact firmware before ordering.
Earlier firmware versions may require a firmware update for fullscreen CarPlay. EntryEVO compatibility and activation requirements must be confirmed separately by VIN and head unit information.
Wi-Fi antenna
Some vehicles require an additional Wi-Fi antenna for CarPlay to function. Confirm whether your car has the required hardware before purchasing.
Check your system
Open Navigation > Map > Options > Navigation settings > Position and version > Version information. Send us the displayed map and software versions.
