Do I have car okay yes I do… the functionality is very hit or miss I experience often disconnects which is Intresting some people on forms say the same other say it works just fine. My friend has a 330i and CarPlay optioned from the factory his works-much better although it is only a half screen. His also connects right away as soon as he starts his car both of ours are a 2017 I have a m240 and he has a 330i. I still need to get with support see if we can figure something out however I don’t believe it’s as smooth as expected if that makes sense and judging from the same head unit with bmw dealer activated CarPlay it’s hard to discern wether or not this is a hardware or software thing however it feels it’s floating toward software support is good though we will see what we can do.
